The NZQA Māori Qualifications Services has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Date new versions published                                                          April 2011

Summary

These standards were not included in the first review of the Te Whakamahi Whenua unit standards in 2009 as the Whakaruruhau decided that these were beyond the focus of that review, which was Mahinga Kai.

In November 2010 they were rolled over to allow further consultation with stakeholders.  These standards have never been awarded and no interest from stakeholders has been shown or feedback received.  Therefore, in further consultation with the whakaruruhau the unit standards were designated as expiring and will not be replaced.

Main changes

·      Unit standards 16402-16406 were designated expiring and will not be replaced.

Category D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2011.
