Summary
Competenz needed to reinstate expired unit standards 7768, 7770, 7771, and 7793 to enable approximately 80 trainees to complete versions 1, 2 and 4 of the National Certificate in Food and Related Products Processing (Level 2) [Ref: 0342]. The trainees had completed the majority of unit standards required until the programme was put on hold due to economic restraints within their business. The reinstatement of these unit standards will ensure these trainees will now be able to complete versions 1, 2 and 4 of the qualification rather than transfer to version 8, which is significantly different.
Main changes
The expiry dates of the unit standards have been extended to December 2013.
