Summary
Feedback from the Water Quality Advisory Group, made up of industry and provider representatives, indicated that the unit standards listed above required revision to ensure they were fit for purpose. The unit standards have been amended to ensure the required competencies are assessed.
In addition the unit standards have been moved to a new subfield and domain.
Main changes
· Change in classification from Community Recreation subfield, Recreation Facility and Resource Design and Management domain to Recreation and Sport subfield, Recreation and Sport - Aquatics domain.
· Changes to titles.
· Changes to outcomes, evidence requirements, and ranges.
· Changes to explanatory notes.
· Updated reference to NZS 5862:2010.
Last date for assessment of superseded versions of the unit standards is 31 December 2011
