Revision and Rollover of Workplace Emergency Risk Management unit standards

The Fire and Rescue Services Industry Training Organisation has completed the rollover of the unit standards listed above.  The unit standards in bold have also been revised.

Summary

 

These unit standards had reached their planned review date, but as there was insufficient information to inform a review the standards were revised and rolled over.  There were no changes to unit standard 17279, for that reason it was only rolled over.  The remaining unit standards were revised to update the explanatory notes.

 

Main changes

 

·      References to the now revoked Police Act 1958 have been replaced by the Policing Act 2008.
