The Aviation, Tourism and Travel Industry Training Organisation (ATTTO) has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
A group of representatives of the museum industry, including specialist museums, local museums, the national museum and Museums Aotearoa, met in May 2010 and reviewed the suitability of the existing standards for their purpose. Changes were made to the content of some standards for clarity, and adjustments to the credits of others were made. It was determined that an additional unit standard was required for the practice of preventive conservation. The new and reviewed unit standards were endorsed by the group in August 2010.
Main changes
· Explanatory notes were updated to reflect current museum practice.
· Credits of standards 20545, 20548, 20552 and 20554 were changed to reflect realistic times for learning and assessment.
· The content of several standards was changed to clearly reflect museum practice.
· The titles of several standards were changed to better reflect their content.
· A new standard in preventive conservation in museums was created.
