NZQA Māori Qualifications Services (MQS) has completed the reinstatement of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

 

MQS reviewed and designated unit standards 16136 and 16137 expiring in December 2010.  Unfortunately, at the time the implications on a provider with extremely high usage for the standards were unforeseen.  Overall the standards should not have been expired.  The provider made contact, and subsequently MQS believe there is strong justification in reinstating these standards and retaining their credit worthiness.  The standards will be reviewed in December 2014.
