InfraTrain New Zealand (InfraTrain) has completed the revision of the unit standard above.

Summary

 

Industry Advisory Groups met throughout 2010.  In the course of these meetings changes were determined for the unit standard above.  The revision was required to make the unit standard generic and address the needs of the industry.  Through peer review, feedback, and discussion the unit standard was further refined and its final content agreed.

 

Main changes

 

·           The existing classification was found to be no longer fit for purpose.  The standard was reclassified as Engineering and Technology > Infrastructure Works > Civil Plant Operation.

·           The agricultural contracting context was removed from the title and outcome statements.

·           Changes were made to: entry information, explanatory notes and ranges as required, reflecting current good practice.
