Revision of Paint Manufacturing qualifications

National Certificate in Paint Manufacturing (Level 2) [Ref: 1364]

National Certificate in Paint Manufacturing (Level 3) [Ref: 1365]

The Plastics and Materials Processing Industry Training Organisation has revised the qualifications listed above.

Date new versions published                                                          May 2011

The next qualification review is planned to take place during 2013.

Reason for the revision

These qualifications were revised to take account of changes made to the Paint Manufacturing unit standards as a result of their review in February 2010.  The revision of these qualifications also took account of reviews and revisions of unit standards and the Directory of Assessment Standards classifications which are managed by other Standard Setting Bodies and are listed in these qualifications.

Main changes resulting from the revision

The content and the structure of both qualifications were updated to take into account the details and status of reviewed standards and classifications in the qualifications.
