Summary

 

This unit standard was reviewed at the request of industry because it was not considered to adequately, or accurately, cover the operation of electrical switchgear in the electricity supply industry.  The standard required extensive changes to outcomes and evidence requirements but the overall outcome remains the same.

 

Main changes

 

·      Outcomes and evidence requirements were updated.

·      Level increased from 3 to 4.

·      Credits increased from 4 to 6.
