Summary

This unit standard was registered in October 2010.  Following assessment against the unit standard, the sensory support sector advised that that the range statements for outcome statements 3 and 4 needed to be updated to align the unit standard with the Universal Newborn Hearing and Screening and Early Intervention Programme (UNHSEIP).

Main changes

·      The range statements for outcome statements 3 and 4 have been updated to specify evidence required for a minimum of two newborns and/or babies instead of evidence required for a minimum of two newborns and babies.
