The Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO) has completed the revision and rollover of the unit standards listed above.

Date new versions published                                                          November 2011

Planned review date                                                                           December 2013

Summary

These standards were revised in order to reclassify them into the Concrete Technology domain of the Concrete subfield, as the Concrete Technology domain listed under the Construction Trades subfield (in which the standards currently reside) is lapsing (expiring).  The standards were also rolled over in order to maintain their currency until consultation is undertaken and a full review completed in 2013.

Main changes

·      The standards were reclassified from Construction Trades > Concrete Technology to Concrete > Concrete Technology and the lapsing domain was expired.

·      Explanatory notes were updated to ensure currency.

·      The range under ER 3.2 of standard 18349 was updated.

·      The planned review date was changed from December 2010 to December 2013.
