This unit standard has been reviewed to ensure it meets current needs of industry.
An expert panel representing the disability sector was established in August 2010 to identify which unit standards in the lapsing domain Practical and Professional Skills for Disability Support would be useful components of qualifications in Health, Disability, and Aged Support. The priority standards were subsequently reviewed and reclassified. Members of that panel were asked in August 2011 to advise on updating the unit standard listed above to reflect current practice and make it fit for purpose.
