The ElectroTechnology Industry Training Organisation (ETITO) has completed the change to the expiry date of the unit standards listed above to extend the last date for assessment from 30 June 2012 to 30 June 2013.

Summary
The expiry date of the unit standards listed above has been extended to allow candidates in the National Certificate in Security (Level 2) [Ref: 0176] and the National Certificate in Security with strands in Court Security, Event Security, Mobile Patrol, Noise Control, Retail Security, Secure Transport, Site Security, and Community Security [Ref: 0227] adequate opportunity to complete these unit standards. The time available for candidates to complete these standards has been adversely impacted by unforeseen delays in the development of new qualifications for the security sector.
