Summary
This qualification was reviewed and designated expiring in March 2011 with an expiry date of 31 December 2012. The introduction of the Targeted Review of Qualifications means that intentions to develop a new Level 4 Coaching qualification may be delayed and the learners may potentially be disadvantaged.
Skills Active Aotearoa is responding to a training provider who sought a change to the expiry date to ensure 120 candidates could complete. The qualification is currently delivered to trainees in a programme that has been developed to suit their seasonal coaching requirements. It is therefore necessary for these and other potential trainees, to extend the expiry date until a new qualification is developed.
Main changes
· The expiry date of unit standards 4874, 5363, 5368, 5369, 5372 and 13378 has been extended to 31 December 2014.
