The Seafood ITO has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

 

These unit standards have been reviewed to ensure they meet the current needs of the industry. 

 

A working group consisting of seafood processing industry experts, workplace assessors and training provider representatives reviewed the unit standards in July 2011. 

 

No major changes were required.  The draft reviewed standards were presented for consultation and the final versions were endorsed by the review working group.

 

Main changes

 

·      Minor amendments made to provide hyperlinks for the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code.

·      Evidence requirements (ERs) 1.1-1.3 for standard 21983 amended to improve readability.

·      Outcome 1, Outcome 3 range, and ERs 1.1-1.3, 3.1, 4.1 for standard 21984 amended to improve readability and interpretation.

 

The last date for assessment of superseded versions of these standards is 31 December 2013.  Results will not be accepted where the assessment date is after the last date for assessment of the superseded version of the standard.
