Summary

 

The unit standards listed above have been reviewed to recognise all aspects of fellmongery processing.  The amendments to the unit standards have been discussed with both the training provider and industry representatives and were endorsed in March 2012.

 

Main changes

 

·      The title of unit standard 18573 has been amended to include the process of deliming.

·      Credits allocated to both standards have been increased from 7 to 8 to reflect the actual learning and assessment time taken.

·      Definitions have been added to the explanatory notes of unit standard 18568

·      Amendments have been made to outcomes, evidence requirements and ranges to reflect all aspects of fellmongery processing.  This includes the addition of outcomes and evidence requirements to unit standard 18568, and the addition of evidence requirements to unit standard 18573.
