Date new versions published                                                          August 2012

The next qualification review is planned to take place during December 2015.

Reason for the revision

These qualifications were revised in order to ensure that the impending expiry of unit standard 17024 did not become a barrier to completion, and to update reviewed standards that have changed in level and credit value.

Main changes resulting from the revision

·            Unit standard 17024 will expire in December 2012 and has been replaced by unit standard 26999.

·           Unit standard 2503 has increased in level from 2 to 3, and credit value has increased from 2 to 3 as a result of a review of Meat Processing unit standards in July 2011.

·           Unit standard 11938 has increased in credit value from 2 to 3 as a result of a review of Sales Transactions unit standards in April 2011.
