The Communications and Media Industry Training Organisation (CMITO) has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
These unit standards were reviewed following feedback from industry that they no longer met the industry requirements for digital printing due to changes in technology and workplace practices.
The review group comprised representatives from a range of printing companies, copy shops, digital printing suppliers and organisations involved, and/or interested in, digital printing.
The review group agreed that the reviewed unit standards should expire and that two new unit standards should be developed to meet industry requirements.
Main changes
· Unit standards 23556 and 23557 were designated as expiring.
· Two new unit standards were developed.
Category C unit standards will expire at the end of December 2014

The newly developed unit standards will be listed on CMR 0005.
