Summary

 

This unit standard listed above was registered in November 2010.  In preparing resources for users of the standard inconsistencies between requirements and practice were noted and a barrier to assessment was identified.  To remedy the inconsistencies reference to ‘different developmental stages' was replaced by reference to ‘development of children' and the barrier to assessment was removed by modifying the evidence requirements.

 

Main changes

 

·      The purpose statement was updated.

·      Outcome 1 was amended.

·      Evidence requirement 1.4 was deleted.

·      Reference to developmental stages was removed from the range statement for outcomes 2 and 3 and from the evidence requirements for outcome 2.

·      The remaining evidence requirements and range statements were amended for clarity and for consistency with the changed range statements.
