Date new versions published                                                          November 2012

Summary

Ministry of Education in association with NZQA is aligning achievement standards from the Music learning area in the New Zealand Curriculum (NZC). The project recommended all Level 1 and 2 unit standards be expired as the aligned achievement standards covered Music outcomes from the NZC.  Feedback from the tertiary sector indicates that these standards are required for qualifications.

Main changes

·      The expiry date for these unit standards is extended from 31 December 2012 to 31 December 2014.
