Summary
The unit standards listed above were originally developed for the expired focussed qualification National Certificate in Community Support Services (Field Workers) [Ref: 1478]. The 2011 review of the National Certificate in Health, Disability, and Aged Support (Core Competencies) (Level 3) [Ref: 1327] resulted in this qualification being more flexible and it was decided to reclassify the standards listed above from the expiring Community Field Work domain into domains where they would be accessible by learners studying for a generic community support qualification.
Main changes
· The standards were reclassified.
· The titles and outcomes were amended to broaden the scope of contexts and settings in which the standards can apply.
· Range statements and evidence requirements were amended.
· References were updated.
