The Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation extended the expiry date for the unit standards listed above.

Summary
These unit standards were reviewed and designated expiring in 2011. The Mandatory Review of Qualifications began before the review of the qualifications associated with them was complete, and this has delayed the registration of the new qualifications significantly. The qualifications involved are:
· National Diploma in Architectural Technology (Level 6) [Ref: 0357]
· National Diploma in Construction Management (Level 6) [Ref: 0356]
· National Diploma in Quantity Surveying (Level 6) [Ref: 0358].
These qualifications contain the expiring unit standards, which are due to expire in December 2014. The BCITO has extended the expiry date for the unit standards in order to allow candidates to continue to complete the qualifications until the Mandatory Review is complete and replacement qualifications become available.
