Summary

Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, responsibility for above qualifications and standards was transferred from The Skills Organisation - Civil Defence to Fire and Rescue Services Industry Training Organisation (EmQual). This follows from the merger of Learning Sate with The Skills Organisation on 1 August 2012. As a result of Industry request on 20 December 2012 Fire and Rescue Services Industry Training Organisation (EmQual) got the coverage for Civil Defence.

Notes:

* Documents have been republished to show Fire and Rescue Services Industry Training Organisation (EmQual) as the Standard Setting Body (SSB), and the planned review date has been extended to August 2014.

** The Civil Defence Comprehensive Emergency Management Domain currently has no registered unit standards. However, EmQual has also taken over responsibility for it.
