Extension of expiry date of Sports Turf Weeds and Pests unit standards

The Primary Industry Training Organisation (Primary ITO) has extended the expiry dates of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

 

These unit standards were reviewed and designated as expiring without direct replacement (Review Category D) in 2011.  The unit standards were designated to expire in December 2013.

 

It was intended that the Horticulture qualifications affected by the expiry of these standards would be reviewed and the expiring standards replaced by December 2013.  However, it is likely that the qualifications will remain in use until at least the end of 2014.  

 

As a result, the Primary ITO has extended the expiry date of the standards to December 2015 to ensure that the affected qualifications remain achievable until the mandatory review of Horticulture qualifications has been completed.

·      The expiry date for these standards was extended from 31 December 2013 to 31 December 2015.
