NZQA Māori Qualifications Services has rolled over the unit standards listed above to maintain their currency until they are reviewed, the standards in bold have also been revised.

Summary

 

These unit standards were due for review in December 2013.  It was expected that the mandatory review of the Ngā Mahi ā te Whare Pora qualifications would have an impact on the review and development of these unit standards.  Consequently the standards have had their period of registration extended until after the mandatory review of the Ngā Mahi ā te Whare Pora qualifications has taken place.

 

Standards 7880, 7883, 7888, 7892, 7896, 7898, 7900, 7903, 7908 and 27103 were also revised to correct errors that do not affect assessment.

 

Main changes

 

·        Planned review date was extended to 31 December 2016.

·        Format of standards was updated to the current template.

·        Standards 7880 and 7900 were revised to clarify evidence requirements.

·        The purpose statements of standards 7883, 7892 and 7903 were amended to better reflect the outcomes.
