Revision of Conservation qualification

Organisation has revised the qualification above.

The next qualification review is planned to take place as part of a
mandatory review during 2013-2014.
Reason for the
revision
The qualification above was revised as it contained
expired and expiring standards which would affect its achievability.
Replacement qualifications are intended to be
listed following the mandatory review of qualifications in the Conservation cluster
(scheduled to begin in quarter 3, 2013 and conclude in 2014).
Main changes resulting from the revision
Expiring and expired standards were
removed and reverse transition was added to allow people to complete Version 2
of the qualification.

credit value decreased from 70 to 65 credits

Unit
standard 26037 replaced expiring standard 16082
·
Unit
standards 26551 and 26552 replaced unit standards 6401 and 6402

Unit
standard 27213 replaced expiring standard 21554
·
Expiring
unit standards 6400, 11091, 11092 and 21555 were removed from the qualification
·
The
expiring Parks and Recreation domain
was replaced by the Parks and Reserves
domain
·
The
expiring Temporary Traffic Management domain
under the Highway Construction and
Management subfield was replaced by the Temporary
Traffic Management domain under the Infrastructure
Works domain
·
Unit
standard classifications, titles and credit values were updated to reflect
changes following unit standard reviews
·
Reverse
transition arrangements were added to ensure achievability of version 2 of the
qualification.
Transition
This qualification contains standards that
replace or substitute earlier standards.
For the purposes of this qualification, people who have gained credit
for the earlier standards are exempt from the requirement to gain credit for
the replacement or substitute standards – see table below.
