The NZ Motor Industry Training Organisation (Inc) (MITO) has extended
the expiry dates of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
These unit
standards were reviewed and designated as expiring without direct replacement
(Review Category D). Standards 8920,
21632 and 21633 expired in December 2012 and standards 17534 and 17535 expire
in December 2014.
It was intended
that the qualifications affected by the expiry of these standards would be
reviewed and the expiring standards replaced. However, due to the mandatory reviews that are
underway in these industry sectors, the affected qualifications will now remain
in use until the mandatory reviews are completed and the new qualifications and
programmes are available.
As a result, MITO has
extended the expiry date of these standards to 31 December 2017 to ensure that
the affected qualifications remain achievable until the mandatory review of the
qualifications has been completed.

December 2012 to 31 December 2017.

expiry date for standards 17534 and 17535 was extended from 31 December 2014 to
31 December 2017.
