Summary

Infrastructure ITO has extended the expiry date of unit standard 14280.

Infrastructure ITO wishes to ensure that trainees are not disadvantaged by the following qualifications becoming unachievable:

· National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Power Technician) (Level 5) with an optional strand in Generation and Sustainable Energy [Ref: 1260].and

· National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Electrical) (Level 4) with strands in Electricity Supply Electrician, Electrical Fitter, and Electrical Technician [Ref: 1295].

Main changes

· The expiry date of the unit standard was extended from 31 December 2013 to 31 December 2016.
