The Skills Organisation has completed the review of the qualification listed above.

Summary of review and consultation process
As part of the mandatory review of qualifications in the Justice and Law (Compliance) review that concluded in 2013, the broad compliance sector, including the New Zealand Police, determined that the qualification should be set to expire without replacement.
All existing candidates will complete the qualification by the end of December 2014.

Transition
· The qualification was closed to any new enrolments and was designated expiring.
· The last date for award of the expiring qualification is 31 December 2014, after this date it will be discontinued.
It is anticipated that no existing candidates will be disadvantaged by these transition arrangements. However, anyone who feels that they have been disadvantaged may appeal to The Skills Organisation at the address below. Appeals will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
