An expert panel was established in February 2013 to revise standard 11386 following feedback from the industry to include current and emerging practices, and to maintain its relevancy and currency.

 

The draft standard was sent out for wider consultation to field experts, assessors and training providers.  Feedback received was considered by the panel which endorsed this standard.

 

Main changes

 

·      Outcomes, evidence requirements, and range statements were revised to include current industry practice and clarify meaning.

 

The last date for assessment for version 1 of the standard is 31 December 2013, and 31 December 2014 for versions 2 and 3.  Results will not be accepted where the assessment date is after the last date specified for that version.
