Summary of review and consultation process
As a result of the recent review of the Fibreboard Packaging unit standards and qualifications and the development of new qualifications for the packaging sector it was identified that the above qualifications were no longer required by industry due to changes in technology. It was also noted that Refs: 1494 and 1515 have had no use in the last five years and no trainees were currently enrolled in programmes leading to the award of these qualifications.
