Summary

 

In March 2012, the former InfraTrain New Zealand conducted a review of all unit standards in the Pavement Surfacing subfield and standard 20447 was designated expiring because the outcomes of this standard were duplicated in standard 13519.

 

The expiry of standard 20447 has made it difficult to award the National Certificate in Pavement Surfacing (Asphalt Paving Machine Operation) (Level 3) [Ref: 1429].  This standard needed to be reinstated, as expiring, so the qualification could be awarded.

 

Main changes

 

·         Unit standard 20447 was reinstated as expiring, with the expiry date set at 31 December 2016.
