Summary

The mandatory review of Tikanga qualifications, which may impact on the mana wahine unit standards, is currently underway, and the mana wahine unit standards listed above are due for review in 2016.  The flow-on effect of the mandatory review on these standards is unknown, so they have been rolled over to extend their period of listing on the DAS.  Once the mandatory review of the Tikanga qualifications has been completed, the mana wahine unit standards will be progressively reviewed in light of the new qualifications.

Main changes

·      Where required, the explanatory notes, the formatting, and the punctuation have been amended.

·      A last date for assessment has been added to the previous versions of each standard.  This is 31 December 2016 for the latest version and 31 December 2014 for earlier version(s).

·      The planned review date has been amended to 31 December 2016.

There are no impacts on existing organisation with consent to assess, on Consent and Moderation Requirements (CMR) or on registered qualifications.
