Summary
The standards listed above were reviewed alongside the Targeted Review of Qualifications for the National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Utility Arborist) (Level 2) with an optional strand in Insulated Tool Work [Ref: 1631].
Main changes
· Unit standard 17152 was designated expiring and was replaced by new standards 28493 and 28494.
· New standard 28492 with the outcome for earthing and bonding for mobile equipment was registered.
· New standard 28495 with the outcome for holding permits for work in the vicinity of electrical lines, cables, and equipment was also registered to support the current qualification requirements.
· Standard 18032 has increased to level 3 due to the skill complexity outcome’s alignment with the NZQA level 3 descriptors.
The category C unit standard will expire at the end of December 2019
