Summary
Industry identified the need for three new retail produce unit standards to support training programmes leading towards the new retail qualifications at Level 3. This required a revision of the existing retail produce unit standards to clarify the target audience at Level 2. Three of the existing Level 3 unit standards were also replaced by a new unit standard, and two other unit standards were developed.
These changes were endorsed by the industry in February 2014.
Main changes
· Clarification of the target audience for the Level 2 unit standards.
· Three of the Level 3 unit standards were replaced by new unit standard 28308.
The last date for assessment of the superseded version of these standards is 31 December 2016. Results will not be accepted where the assessment date is after the last date for assessment of the superseded version of the standard.
Category C and D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2016
