NZQA National Qualifications Services has completed the revision and rollover of the unit standards listed above.
In 2015, NZQA National Qualifications Services initiated the revision and rollover of unit standards from the subfield Languages, domain English for Academic Purposes. These unit standards were scheduled for review by December 2015. However, due to the Mandatory Review of Qualifications, it was decided to rollover the unit standards until a full review takes place to align the unit standards to the newly approved NZ qualifications in English Language, where appropriate. The next review will retain the integrity of the standards, specifically 22750 and 22751, in meeting the university entrance literacy requirements.
The unit standards were changed to the current template.
Minor changes to content were made for clarity of meaning.
The unit standards were benchmarked to the Common European Framework of Reference.
