NZQA Māori Qualifications Services (MQS) has revised and rolled over the unit standards listed above.

Summary

These unit standards have been rolled over to maintain their currency until they are reviewed following the review (currently underway) and listing of two, new Māori Business and Management qualifications (at Levels 3 and 4).

The new qualifications will influence what happens with these unit standards, in terms of expiry and replacement; as well as the development of standards that align with the graduate profile outcomes of the new qualifications.  Extending the review date for these unit standards allows a review to take place that is informed by the assessment requirements of the new qualifications.

Main changes

· The unit standards were rolled over to extend the planned review date from December 2015 to December 2017.

· Explanatory notes were amended (to update references to publications, legislation, and website links).

· Editorial amendments were made to some outcomes and evidence requirements.
