Summary
As a result of the Targeted Review of Qualifications process, Primary Industry Training Organisation (Primary ITO) has reviewed a number of unit standards to better reflect the requirements of the outcomes listed in the new qualifications.
It was identified that five new unit standards were required, replacing seven existing unit standards.
Main changes
· New unit standards were written to replace standards that were no longer fit for purpose. Changes were made to titles and credits to reflect learning and assessment. Outcomes, evidence requirements, ranges and/or explanatory notes were changed to ensure consistency of delivery and assessment.
· New unit standards 28920-28924 have been developed to meet the industry and qualification graduate profile outcome requirements.
Category C unit standards will expire at the end of December 2018
