Summary

This revision and rollover was initiated to ensure these standards were considered prior to their planned review date of 31 December 2015.  In undertaking the revision and rollover, National Qualifications Services sought feedback on any known assessment issues identified through the national external moderation system.  Unit standard 26686 was identified as requiring minor amendments to ensure it remained accessible as lighting technology changes.  No issues were raised with other unit standards in this revision and rollover.

Main changes

· The addition of LED as a type of luminaire in ER 2.1 of unit standard 26686,

· The removal of the quantitative statement under Outcome 3 of unit standard 26686.

· New planned review date of December 2020.
