Summary

Following the sector review of qualifications in the Intelligence Analysis sector consultation meetings with subject matter experts were held to review the unit standards in the Intelligence Analysis domain.

These meetings identified unit standards, or parts of standards, that had little or no relevancy to the Intelligence Analysis sector.  As a result a number of unit standards were designated expiring, some with replacements and others without replacement.

Main changes

·           Unit standards 18498-18503 were designating expiring and will not be replaced.

·           Unit standards 18504-18508 were designated expiring and will be replaced by new unit standards.

·           New unit standards 28474-28484 and 28489-28489 were created to address identified skill gaps.

Category C and D unit standards will expire at the end of December 2017
