NZQA Māori Qualifications Services has completed the revision of the unit standards listed above.

Summary

NZQA Māori Qualifications Services initiated this revision in response to an internal request to update the standards so they are fit for purpose and current.

Changes were made to the explanatory notes in all the standards in order to correct and update the wording.

The Māori performing arts Whakaruruhau and moderators were consulted and their responses indicated support for the changes that were made to all unit standards to address the concern raised.

Main changes

· Where required, the explanatory notes were amended.

· For the Level 2 standards, evidence requirement 1.1 was rewritten for clarity.
