Revision and rollover of Business Law unit standards

NZQA National Qualifications Services has completed the rollover of the unit standards listed above.  The standard in bold has also been revised.

Summary

It was originally intended that these unit standards be reviewed;  however in view of the listing of the New Zealand qualifications in business, it was agreed with stakeholders that the review should be delayed until after the qualifications have been in use, to determine the ongoing need for the standards.  The Business Law unit standards have therefore been rolled over pending this review and revised where necessary.

Excluded from this rollover are –

- standard 11637, which is included in the review of small business unit standards

- standard 17702, for which Qualifications Services is not the Standard Setting Body

Main changes

· Legislation has been updated in 11631.

· Planned review date for all the standards has been extended to 31 December 2020.
