Planned review date                                                                           31 December 2020

Summary

The review of the unit standard 18100 was prompted by the outcomes of the mandatory review of qualifications, specifically the listing of:

·         New Zealand Certificate in Alpine Resort Operations (Level 3) [Ref: 3224]

New unit standards were created and listed in domain Alpine Resort Operations.  Unit standard 18100 was also replaced with two new unit standards to ensure the content is fit for purpose, relevant and aligned with outcomes listed in the new qualification.

Feedback from stakeholders was gathered through an open consultation process and used to guide the development of the industry training programme and the development and review of the associated unit standards.

Main changes

Standard 18100 has been replaced with two new standards to reflect current industry practice.  The replacement standards will be listed in the Alpine Resort Operations domain.

Category C unit standard will expire at the end of December 2020.
