Summary
The unit standards were reviewed for the review of the New Zealand Diploma in Engineering Practice with strands in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering [Ref: 1714].
Main changes
· Legislation and names of professional bodies were updated in the Explanatory notes of all unit standards.
· Evidence requirements from the standards were clarified.
· The definition of well-defined electrical engineering problems was extended to included telecommunications, data communications, electronic or electricity supply problems.
