The unit standards were designated to expire on 31 December 2016.

The Targeted Review of Qualifications (TRoQ) in the Beauty sector is still ongoing, and will result in a full review of unit standards and development of training and assessment resources.

It is expected that these processes will take some time and therefore it is necessary to extend the availability of the unit standards listed above to allow time for qualification candidates to complete the requirements of their programmes.
