Summary

 

In the 2015 review of unit standards in the Supported Learning subfield, the standards were reviewed to align with the New Zealand Certificate in Skills for Living for Supported Learners (Level 1) with an optional strand in Skills for Working [Ref: 2853].  As a result, these standards were designated expiring with a last date of assessment at 31 December 2017.

 

The last date for assessment did not align to the expiry of the National Certificate in Work and Community Skills (Supported Learning) [Ref: 0853]; therefore, the standards required a change in expiry date to align with the national qualification expiry and ensure its achievability.

 

Main changes

 

·      The last date of assessment of the standards was extended from 31 December 2017 to 31 December 2019.
