Summary
The Mana wahine unit standards were reviewed to keep them fit for purpose.
The Whakaruruhau met in wellington in March 2016 to review the standards.
The new versions of the standards were finalised and endorsed by the Whakaruruhau in April of the same year. The Whakaruruhau worked to align the standards with the outcomes of the new suites of qualifications that have been developed as part of the mandatory review of qualifications.
Main changes
· Amendments to wording of outcomes, evidence requirements and range statements in some standards to ensure consistency across the suite of standards.
· Unit standard 25761 was expired due to the standard duplicating outcomes in unit standard 10702.
· Resources and recommended readings and websites have been added to the explanatory notes across the suite of unit standards.
The Category D unit standard will expire at the end of December 2017
