The New Zealand Marine and Composites Industry Training Organisation (NZMAC ITO) has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
NZMAC ITO carried out a review to better align these core standards to the graduate outcomes of the New Zealand qualifications relating to the marine or composite industries. The units have also been updated to reflect the new health and safety legislation. Consultation with impacted parties was carried out by email.
Main changes
· Standards 18166 and 23244 were increased in credits from 4 to 5 to better reflect the learning and assessment time.
· Unit standard titles and content were updated to include reference to the composite industry.
· Explanatory notes were updated to reflect changes in legislation.
· New unit standard 29546 was developed to meet graduate profile outcome requirements in the New Zealand qualifications.
· A last date for superseded versions was specified.
