Summary

Delays in trainees commencing programmes leading to the New Zealand Certificate in Retail (Level 2) [Ref: 2234] and the New Zealand Certificate in Distribution (Level 3) [Ref: 2572], have made it impossible for trainees to complete these qualifications within the set duration.  The expiry date of these unit standards has consequently been extended to December 2017 to ensure that trainees and programme providers are not disadvantaged by these delays.
