NZQA Māori Qualifications Services (MQS) has completed the review of the unit standards listed above.

Summary
The review of these unit standards was initiated through their scheduled review and the Targeted Review of Qualifications (TRoQ) for Ngā Toi qualifications.
The unit standards were reviewed to ensure that they are fit for purpose and relevant, and align with the graduate profile outcomes of the proposed Ngā Toi Qualifications.
All amendments to the standards were endorsed by Whakaruruhau.
Main changes
· Explanatory note one in all reviewed unit standards has been amended to give clarity to tikanga and kawa in whakairo.
· Explanatory notes have been amended to give better guidance for programme providers and tutors.
· Range statements have been amended and/or added to give better clarity to evidence requirements.
· Unit standard 2571 - Purpose and outcome statements are amended to better reflect the intended purpose and outcome of the standard.
· Unit standards 2579, 2599, 2598, 2597 and 2600 - Wording in titles amended to better reflect the purpose of the unit standards
· Entry information amended to reflect changes to unit standard titles.
